The Muni-Link Customer Conference will be held virtually on April 17, 2024 from 9 AM – 4PM Eastern. This conference is great for Muni-Link users at all levels with sessions for beginners, advanced users, and everyone in between. Be sure to visit our exhibit hall to meet some of our vendor partners and don’t forget to stop by the Muni-Link Booth to chat with our staff throughout the day. From Customer Request to Replacement: Managing Asset and Work Life Cycles


Knowing what is happening inside of your system is key for effective management.  In this presentation we will talk about how assets are impacted throughout their life by multiple factors, including work that is occurring on them, aging, accidents such as utility strikes, etc., and how to document all of that information.  A lot of that work may be initiated at the customer level, so we will also focus on dealing with customer requests and how to manage the work that comes from those issues.  We will also show how that can impact your assets, both from a conditional perspective as well as a lifecycle perspective.
